  • How do I get access to DataCamp?

    All University of Miami employees have access to the entire DataCamp library. Go to datacamp.miami.edu and sign in with your University of Miami credentials to start learning.

    Please visit the CaneID Self-Service portal if you need help with your UM Login ID or password.

  • How do I start my learning journey?

    To start learning on your own, we recommend exploring the University of Miami-curated learning journeys available in Organization Tracks.

  • Do I have to complete the training all at once?

    You can complete the training track and courses at your own pace. DataCamp automatically saves your progress so you can stop at any time and return later to continue where you left off.

    Assessments and certification activities need to be completed within a specific time limit once started. Be sure to review any instructions provided before beginning an assessment or certification exam.

  • How long does the training take?

    It depends on the track and your familiarity with the content; there is not fixed time.

    The estimated time to complete the activity is listed in the header of the tracks and learning modules. Learners familiar with the content may complete the activities faster or test out of some modules.

  • Can I skip the training if I already know about AI?

    Some courses include a "Take Test" option that allows you to demonstrate proficiency. If you pass the test, the module will be marked complete.

    Not all courses offer a proficiency test. If a course does not include a "Take Test" option—or if you do not pass the assessment—you will need to complete the required learning content.

    There is no single exam that allows you to bypass an entire learning track. Depending on your existing knowledge, you may complete a track through a combination of passed proficiency assessments and completed learning modules.

  • How do I get help or report an issue?

    For technical support regarding any of the AI4E levels within DataCamp, please submit a Software and Hardware Support form via ServiceNow:

    • For Category, select Application/Software
    • For Subcategory, select AI Training (DataCamp)
